"The Space Between" By Dennis Dalelio

Dennis Dalelio is a Northern NJ based visual artist and art educator who creates paintings, photographs, and mixed media installations. He is known for his often large-scale paintings that explore both abstraction and representation alongide of his work as a documentary photographer. Content in his paintings often explores the intersection of ordinary life with the search of the soul for God in all things transcendent. His work has been shown throughout New York and New Jersey and within several private collections around the country. He has been an art educator for over two decades in a NJ public high school and within his personal workshops. He founded the Highland Lakes Artist Group, a collection of creators from Highland Lakes, NJ, who meet monthly to share their latest works. He is also the host and producer of the arts advocacy media collection called "The Stolen Hours Podcast." Dalelio received his MFA from William Paterson University in 2010 and his BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 1998. He thrives with his wife, the artist Kristin Dalelio, and their 5 children in Highland Lakes, NJ. View his work here.
